Raymon D. Burns is a native of Georgia, having grown up and lived in the Atlanta area all of his life. Raymon earned a BBA-Finance degree from Georgia State University in 1981 and immediately enrolled at Emory University School of Law. While at Emory, Raymon worked full time and served on Emory’s Law Review, was awarded entry into the Order of the Coif, and received a degree of “Doctor of Law – With Distinction” in 1981. Raymon has considerable experience with business and corporate legal issues, including contested probate matters. Raymon also has significant trial experience and now spends most of this time in court protecting his clients’ interests. Although Raymon’s primary focus is handling the litigation needs of our clients, he also enjoys helping our probate clients with their non-contested needs as well. His favorite business slogan is “Don’t confuse efforts with results.” Raymon and his wife, Jeanette, have lived in Gwinnett County over 30 years and are members of Cannon United Methodist Church in Snellville. When he is not working, Raymon enjoys gardening, pottery and relaxing on Lake Oconee.
